“Sanyukta’s collection here is something completely unique in our experience. There is a lot of talk about sustainability, working with renewables and resource efficient materials but the marriage between excellent design values in fashion and the really ethical use and incredibly innovative use of materials is you rarely see. This is one of these rare combinations where these high fashion values, innovative use of artisanal techniques and new technologies that is creating materials: apple peel for leather, nettles for woven material, milk fibers, frankly, I think it is extraordinary work. It is incredibly gratifying to see somebody who has the creative energy, takes the resource efficient use of materials, does it so beautifully and with such a high sense for the ethical values connected to design & creative work.” – Prof.David Gloster – Chartered Architect and the former Director of Royal Institute of British Architects, RIBA 2006-2021
