Rupert, we met when I first moved to London. I actually moved in with his sister – and then met Rupert shortly after!

THE PROPOSAL

He proposed whilst we were skiing in the French alps, it was very romantic.

THE VENUE 

All Saints Church in Grayswood followed by a reception at Ramster Hall, Surrey.

THE THEME

Smart winter party – we wrote party dresses, bow ties and velvet jackets encouraged on the invitations!

FINDING THE DRESS

From the moment I walked into the shop and met Sanyukta I knew her dresses were perfect for me, I felt a strong connection with her and the dresses were all so beautiful. Within a minute of walking into the shop I saw just the sleeve of the Kathryn dress hanging near the back – I instantly fell in love 🙂 (And that was just from seeing the sleeve!)

THE WEDDING DRESS

Our wedding day was the best day of my life, it was so incredible to have all of our friends and family in one place to celebrate such a happy occasion. Walking down the aisle felt like I was walking on air!

BEING A SANYUKTA SHRESTHA BRIDE

Were you aware of Fairtrade- organic fabrics before finding your SS wedding dress? What are your thoughts on eco-friendly clothing now you have worn an eco-bridal gown? I was aware of them but had never had the chance to wear. Now I have work such beautiful fabric I will be looking to buy organic cotton again.

Once you have seen a dress you love and feel amazing in stop looking. Even if like me it is the first shop you have been in to!
