Beryl’s Dream Liechtenstein Wedding 

An outside wedding venue, in the middle of nowhere out in the fields of beautiful Liechtenstein was the location of the dream wedding for Beryl and Simon. “We wanted it to be a special and different wedding than the usual. The high quality of food, wine and venue was very important to us” highlights Beryl. 

For this lovely couple, everything matched like a puzzle. Their meant to be love story, the unique location that meant so much for both of them, and their loved ones by their side was everything they needed to create this whimsical wedding atmosphere. 

“We had 3 teepee tents, all connected with each other, long rows of tables. The tents were beautifully decorated with lots of flowers everywhere hanging from the ceiling, in corners, on table. We had a minimal palette on our minds, that would highlight all the beautiful decoration details. The white long tablecloths and candles everywhere, a bicycle with flowers, wooden crates, white porcelain vases with flowers. As this was an outside wedding venue, we had Fire pits outside and a band playing all day and night long a selection of classics. The atmosphere and the vibe was just unbelievably amazing” Beryl describes.

Sanyukta Shrestha created a Bespoke Wedding Gown for Beryl, that would be as unique as her. “I felt beautiful in my wedding gown. The personal details reflected my character and who I am”. The design came after getting to know what Beryl had dreamt to walk down the aisle in and who she was personality-wise. 

WHERE DID YOU MEET

Simon and I first met when we were 12 years old. We both went to school together and were friends throughout that time. When we turned 17 we fell in love with each other and have been together for the last 15 years. 

THE PROPOSAL

When we moved to London in 2017, we celebrated our very first Christmas together. We couldn’t wait to celebrate on our own and in our cosy flat. We cooked a special Christmas meal, we had no dining table at the time, because we only moved in a couple of months before. So Simon turned our couch table into a beautiful dining table, with big pillows all around it. There were candles everywhere and a fire pit on TV. When I opened one of the Christmas crackers (typical English tradition), I found a note inside saying: I love you, enjoy the next song. He then took his guitar and played his self-composed song for me. He sang about how we fell in love with each other, how I important I was to him and if I wanted to marry him. I said yes of course!

MOST MAGICAL MOMENT

Having this feeling of just being the happiest person alive and carrying so much love with you on that day! Having all your loved ones around you and wishing you nothing but the best. Marrying the love of your life. No words to describe this deep feeling of Love.

THE DRESS

The reason why I chose Sanyukta’s wedding dress was because of the way it made me feel. It made me feel so special and beautiful. The fabric couldn’t have been any more comfortable and the small little details, which were picked so carefully made it become my very own personal wedding dress. This dress will be forever in my heart. I loved that one of my guest said –  “Your silk dress was shining throughout the day, in sunlight and by night surrounded by candle-light” – I just love that quote!

FAIRTRADE

I was not fully aware of what it means for a bridal designer to be eco-friendly and fair trade, but learning about it made it even more perfect. When Sanyukta explained to me that everything is 100% natural fabric, inside and out, only then I understood it’s true beauty. Ever since I have worn this great quality dress, I saw a huge difference of any synthetic fabric and it made me feel very spoiled in the best possible way. 

YOUR ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES

I would encourage all brides to make sure to enjoy these unique moments and not to have anybody influence your decision, if you know what is right. I went all by myself and felt a little scared at first, making such a big step on your own. Thinking back to it, it was the best choice for me.
