2020 has been a year like no other, 14.7 Billion worth Bridal industry’s Retailers, designers, suppliers and event organisers, have had to throw the rule book out the window and figure out how to function during a global health crisis with 107,000 weddings postponed since lockdown. “This uncertain, unpredictable, unknown time has been difficult and created many challenges, but it has also produced some incredible acts of kindness and innovative thinking. Once again, the bridal industry has gone above and beyond to provide exceptional service. In light of this, we decided not to run the full awards ceremony and gala dinner this year. Instead we announced 9 categories of Special recognition Awards that are more in keeping to recognise kindness, resilience, innovation and community support within the industry with a special one-off programme.” – Bridal Buyer Award
