On the 7^th of June 2017, Bridal Designer Sanyukta Shrestha attended Simon Cowell’s Midsummer Ball, “Together For Short Lives”. The ball shines a light on the UK’s 49,000 children and young people living with life-threatening conditions and helps to ensure that children and families can get the best possible care, wherever they are and whenever they need it.

“I was very honoured to be invited to the Together for Short Lives Ball. It is a fantastic charity and having been involved to support such a great cause is an amazing feeling. Being a mother of a 3-year-old, I felt very emotionally connected to the parents who had to go through this unimaginable heart-breaking situation in their lives. I salute to all those parents for their strength and courage who bravely live with incurable and life-limiting condition of their little ones. Hosted by the music mogul Simon Cowell, guests experienced a special night of magical midsummer entertainment. The night’s celebrity guests included X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent judge’s Louis Walsh and Alesha Dixon, Pixie Lott, Ola Jordan, Kristina Rihanoff and Emma Barton to name a few. Following an evening of magical performances by Pixie Lott, Lulu, X Factor winner Matt Terry and BGT winner Tokio Myers, Ball guests danced the night away with a DJ set from the famous Mac twins.

Speaking at the ball, the Syco owner – Mr. Cowell said: “I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved through the Midsummer Balls, raising vital funds for the charity’s work with thousands of children and young people who battle with life-limiting conditions every day. The work Together for Short Lives does is vital for so many families. I am forever humbled when I meet parents who find themselves in such an unimaginable situation and the children, who are brave beyond belief.”
