29th July, Friday saw Sanyukta Shrestha’s return to the exclusive ‘Brides’ magazine reader event for the 4^th year in a row. Set in the opulent Corinthia Hotel, in London’s wealthy Embankment district, 9 luxury bridal wear designers were invited to showcase their gorgeous dresses to an exclusive guest list of ‘Brides’ magazine readers.

Intimately presented in the grand Ballroom, guests were greeted with refreshing Grey Goose Le Fizz cocktails before entering the exquisite venue.  Adorned with bright blooms and organic displays, reminiscent of the ‘Brides’ secret catwalk of October, the Ballroom became an enchanting and romantic setting for brides to begin their beautiful journey to finding the dream dress.

Along with Sanyukta Shrestha, designers showcasing their collections included Mirror Mirror, Katya Katya Shehurina, Sheila Harding, The Couture Gallery, Halfpenny London, Savin London, Blackburn Bridal Couture and Maids to Measure. Delicately spaced throughout the room, brides and press representatives had the wonderful opportunity to meet the designers personally and find out more about their luxurious gowns.

For Sanyukta Shrestha, this event was the perfect setting for future brides to get a closer look at the 2017 ‘Enchanted Blooms’ collection, which draws inspiration from rare and endangered species of flowers. Maintaining her ethos of ‘love green believe in ethics’, Sanyukta has continued her dedication to providing unique and personalised designs by drawing inspiration from a variety of uniquely shaped flowers that result in a collection that caters for all body shapes. From slim silhouettes to fuller floating skirts, ‘Enchanted Blooms’ portrays the delicacy of each flower, transformed into a stunning garment that radiates beauty, rarity and kindness.

As always, Sanyukta’s dresses are handmade in Nepal and her signature eco-friendly fabrics are hand weaved by women from disadvantaged communities. This uniquely conscious process is something that continues to have many brides interested in Sanyukta’s dresses, spreading love and compassion from the manufacturing process to the final fittings. Her story continues to engage brides into the brand and gives them the opportunity to spread love not only through their wedding, but around the world by supporting both beauty and ecology.

Someone that continues to support and share our story is model and actress, Ava West, who took the kind courtesy of attending the event to share her enthusiasm and inspiration for Sanyukta and everything she represents. Having modelled the new collection herself, Ava observed the catwalk show with admiration and positivity.
