Zoe Lem’s Vintage wedding fair is in its 5th year and on 14th April put on another fantastic event held at the iconic Art Deco Bloomsbury Ballroom, Victoria House in London. For the first time Sanyukta Shrestha’s art deco inspired collection was showcased amongst the finest bridal exhibitors that the UK has to offer, each lining up to amaze and entertain on this spectacular day of wedding planning .
We loved the grandeur of Victoria House, which is a stunning neoclassical landmark in one of the capitals most historical areas. Constructed in the 1920’s and extensively remodelled in 2003, it has contemporary feel within an opulent structure which was a perfect match for the style of Sanyukta Shrestha wedding gown collections.
While the fashion show took place in art deco ballroom (the main hall), the main exhibition started from grand entrance and followed the stunning staircase across the twenty-first century new space.

This year for the first time Zoe mixed up the fairs format hosting a VIP morning from 10-12pm which allowed guests to be entertained, take part in a Q&A with bridal experts and browse the exhibitors collections. Before welcoming more guests in the afternoon to explore the vintage bridal suppliers and discover new wedding inspirations.
Q&A with vintage bridal makeup expert – Lipstick & Curl, vintage style guru- Zoe Lem, vintage cake expert- Restoration cake.
It truly was a show time when the doors opened at 10am with the first fashion show following shortly afterwards. With Lady Alex from the WamBamClub holding as master of ceremony and performances from the fabulous Tootsie Rollers and My Gosh Marvellous the shows entertainment truly once one of a kind.
Brides were spoilt throughout the day being able to wander between the exhibitors, sample some products and watch the entertainment that was happening downstairs in the ballroom throughout the day.
The burlesque models were stunning, playful and energetic performing in gowns inspired by four different vintage eras 1920’s, 1930’s 1940’s and 1950’s.
All guests were entitled to discounts from most of the wedding suppliers at the event and many brides were delighted to find their perfect gown, accessories, photographer, make up artist and more.
