Leading high-end bridal designer with a conscience, Sanyukta Shrestha, unveiled her new logo to support the expansion to an international brand specialized in sustainable luxury. The introduction of the new logo underlines the evolution of the company which will reach new markets around the world and drive the brand’s ethical message forward.

The logo consists of two entwined letters ‘S’ which not only represent the designer’s initials but also the sign of ‘eternity’, a strong symbol that signifies the bond of marriage. The two outer sections are designed to look like interwoven wedding rings and also emphasizing the cyclic sustainable production chain. As an ethical brand, Sanyukta Shrestha is empowering women and creating work opportunities by using natural fabrics which were hand-spun and woven by underprivileged women in Nepal. The logo echoes an exceptional circle and bond between the women who work ever so passionately to create unique fabrics and the women who wear the finished designs and at the same time support sustainability, fair trade, women’s equality and the ethical workforce.
Commenting on the logo, creative director Sanyukta Shrestha said: “It has been a very intensive but incredibly vital journey. I believe the logo represents our core ethical values and will carry the brand into the future”.

The creative director and PR team worked very closely with the graphic designer to ensure all aspects of the brand are echoed in the new logo which will help the company establish a stronger brand presence both online and offline. It was important to create a logo that is recognisable but which also represents what Sanyukta Shrestha stands for. The identity and logo design should reflect the individuality and also represent the ethical spirit of the company. Like every Sanyukta Shrestha design, the logo had to reflect timeless elegance with a contemporary touch.
The launch of the new logo is the start of a gradual re-branding process which will be followed by the introduction of a new website and innovative new products in the upcoming months.
