“We had an amazing time in Bhutan and the dress just fitted in perfectly! It was nice to wear something that was so in harmony with its surroundings. I could really feel the quality of the fabric and the skill that went into all the beading was just incredible. I felt like a real Himalayan princess! Thank you for making the day so special.
Best wishes,
Samantha”
It is always such a pleasure when brides are kind to share their story and their wedding photographs with us. Too see the thought and personality that goes into each wedding makes us realise how lucky we are to be a part of each brides day. We were thrilled to receive these stunning pictures of glowing bride Samantha who wed with Frank in the Audrey wedding gown surrounded by the beautiful nature of Bhutan and the vivid colours brought to life through their unique traditions.
Samantha & Frank looked so relaxed and happy as they enjoy the benefits of a destination wedding. Lovely weather, the chance to marry outside and be at one with nature seem to have paid of for the happy couple as they pose for their wedding photos.
“There were lots of wonderful comments about the dress – it really was perfect for the setting”
Samantha wore the Audrey gown with hand embroidered strap, the Audrey Bolero which was bespoke piece made for her to include full-sleeves and the matching Esther belt. All made of fair-traded bamboo fabric gown lined with 100% organic cotton and silk, handmade by local artisans and couturier in Nepal.
Beauty behind bamboo fabric – The benefits of bamboo fabric for the brides skin include resistance to UV light and mold as well as anti-bacterial properties which makes it an extremely suitable alternative healthy clothing. As well as being softer and lighter, which is perfect for the destination bride, it is also a biodegradable material which is equally beneficial for the environment.
“I love the dress so much…. I can’t wait to wear it for my next black tie event – it will be perfect!”
Here’s some more pictures of Samantha and Frank in Traditional clothing that we would like to share. The whole ceremony looked so ethereal and tranquil with the bride and groom looking perfectly at one within their environment. It was a real delight to have Samantha as one of our bride through our ever loving boutique – London Bride Couture. Congratulation and best wishes for happy and successful married life to the beautiful couple.
