We are delighted to announce that Sanyukta Shrestha has been shortlisted as a finalist for the SOURCE Awards 2012, the Global Awards for Sustainable Fashion. We are privileged to be finalist as a Brand Leader in the design category, a category that is honouring brands who focus on product excellence with the best practice in sustainability.
The SOURCE awards are committed to recognizing talent in the sustainable fashion industry. The awards recognise excellence in 12 different categories, from design innovation to brand leadership across women’s, men’s, accessories, and children’s wear, sustainable supply / manufacture, retail, and individual contribution. The SOURCE Awards will be held in London Tuesday the 4th of December and we cannot wait to celebrate such a worthy cause.
It has been such an honour to be part of this Award and to share recognition with some truly wonderful brands that are doing incredible work for sustainable fashion. Others nominated include industry legends and some of our eco fashion inspirations such as Livia Firth, Lily Cole, Emma Watson, Vivienne Westwood along with brands ASOS, H & M , M&S and organisations such as The Environment Justice Foundation.
The judges panel for the awards includes pioneers of media and fashion industry who support sustainable fashion Hilary Alexander, Baroness Lola Young, Mandi Lennard, Orsola de Castro, Clare Lissaman, Sarah Ratty, Pamela Daniels, Ngaire Takano and Zel Albuquerque.
